Fox McCloud:

He had the look of a mutant.. so much so, I nearly took a shot. Had ammo not been so scarce, I might have been more inclined to let the blare of my assault rifle drown him out. It was in my nerve-wracked state upon escaping a horde of blood-suckers, I was ready to shoot anything that moved. And yet, as I moved close, I came to realize. He was like us. He moved and walked like a human being, adorned in clothes of a most unique style, and using gadgetry far beyond anything the zone could offer. In his eyes, I saw a true hero and a worthy ally. Such confidence, such bravery, even in a wretched place such as this. It was a shame I did not pose the offer to wander together. Offering only a few encouraging words as we parted paths, this picture is the only proof that he was not just an illusion conjured up by a troubled mind. Taken at the Jupiter Plant near Yanov.

Commentary: By far one of the best costumes of Fox McCloud I've seen to date, face to face. It's such a drag that the photo I took turned out to be blurry as all hell. I didn't notice, on account of the gas-mask over my face. Still a decent photo, at least. Fox remains one of my all time favorite video-game characters, and the one I come to rely on in the original Super Smash Brothers, SSBM, and SSBB. I continue to play the Star Fox games to this very day, and find a lot of the fan art fairly likeable. I can only wish that someday, the Star Fox series will be brought back in style.
