Otakon 2013 - Isaac Clarke

Isaac Clarke

I saw a worthy ally who would stick up for me in times of trouble, and join my fight against the Enclave and their fat-angry men. I offered one thousand caps, on the spot, if he'd pledge his services to me and join me on my wasteland quest for fun and glory. But this guy..man. He just went on and on about how he "had to destroy all the markers" and how he "was the chosen one" and "was the only one who knew where the markers were." Nothing I said could get him to change his mind, and eventually, I was forced to let him be on his way. Wish I could've gotten the radio-frequency of the guy who jury-rigged that armor get-up for him, though. That and the gun. Could kill some serious mutants with that rig.

Commentary: Dead Space was a fairly good game series, and I like seeing cosplayers emulate the look of Isaac Clarkes engineering harness. The problem is, I skipped two to play three, and didn't notice all that much change in the gameplay. ..Plus, I dunno why, three felt even more claustrophobic and close-quartered than one ever did, which is something I kind of didn't like. Which isn't to say it didn't bring some interesting features into this, but ah well. A pretty good costume rendition of everyones favorite combat-engineer, Isaac Clarke.
